Medical Scribe

Advanced Rheumatology of Houston – The Woodlands, Texas
Full/Part Time available

Advanced Rheumatology of Houston is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to assist providers with accurate, real-time documentation of patient visits in the electronic health record.

The Medical Scribe will document patient histories, symptoms, examination findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, laboratory results, referrals, and follow-up instructions. Additional duties include preparing charts, locating medical records and test results, and ensuring documentation is complete and ready for provider review.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Strong typing, spelling, and organizational skills.
Medical office, scribe, or electronic health record experience preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
Dependable, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced clinic.

Rheumatology experience and familiarity with Practice Fusion are preferred but not required.
